Movements

Movement entities name the organized literary schools, circles and stylistic currents that authors and works can belong to across history, from early Neoclassicism through Postmodernism and beyond. Eight bands group this atlas's movement roster chronologically and stylistically, Early Modern and Neoclassical Movements, Romantic and Transcendentalist Movements, Realist and Naturalist Movements, Symbolist and Aesthetic Movements, Early Twentieth-Century Avant-Garde Movements, Modernism and Its Currents, Postwar and Existentialist Movements, and Postcolonial and Global Movements. Movement is also this atlas's own community affiliation noun, so a movement entity can additionally anchor a living congregation of practitioners under social.Community.
