You've Reached Sam

You've Reached Sam is a 2021 young adult romance novel by Dustin Thao. It follows high school senior Julie Clarke after her boyfriend Sam Obayashi dies unexpectedly in a car accident, and after his death she finds she can still reach him by calling his old phone number, which lets her revisit memories of him while she grieves. The novel follows her gradual return to her friends and family as she learns to move forward while still honoring Sam's memory. It was followed by a second book, You've Found Oliver.
