Instapoetry

Instapoetry is a style of poetry that emerged after the advent of social media, especially Instagram, typically written in short, direct lines set in aesthetically pleasing fonts and generally lacking traditional rhyme or meter. It arose as young amateur poets, predominantly women, began sharing their work online rather than pursuing conventional publishing, and notable instapoets include Rupi Kaur, Atticus, Amanda Lovelace and Lang Leav.
