All East Asian Verse Forms

Fixed short forms native to the Japanese and Korean poetic traditions: the haiku and tanka's syllable-counted lines, the linked-verse renga, and the Korean sijo. Belongs here: a form whose defining rules originate in these traditions, whether composed in the original language or in English following the same count. Does not belong here: a Western short form such as the epigram or cinquain that merely resembles one of these in brevity.
