Spanish Golden Age Theatre

Theatrical forms of the Spanish stage of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, including the comedia as the main full length play, and the shorter pieces that framed it such as the baile and the fin de fiesta. A genre belongs here when its cited article places it in the Spanish theatre of that period or in the performance programme of the Spanish playhouse. It excludes folk theatre of other regions.
